Adrienne Whatley, BA, manages the marketing and advertising for TLC Brokers. She maintains the company website, creates brochures, mailings, videos, and more. She also administers the company’s social media presence.
She capitalizes on the synergistic effect of having several listings in one geographic area to bring more buyers to our listings.
Prior to real estate, she worked 30+ years in the software industry, holding positions in product development, client support, training, investor relations, advertising, and sales. From 1996 through 2004 she managed software and consulting sales support and training in China for a mid-sized company. Within a few years she brought the company’s market share for the products and services in China to 80%.
April Kempen brings 15+ years of marketing, contract, negotiation and real estate experience. April has extensive knowledge of Denver having lived in the area for over 30 years.
She worked for a large corporate company for over 10 years where she gained valuable sales and negotiation skills. Those skills have proven to be very helpful in achieving success within the Real Estate industry.
April is passionate about providing exceptional service through careful attention to her client’s Real Estate needs and Goals. She always puts her clients first.
April’s love of Colorado is contagious and she enjoys sharing her knowledge with clients, whether they are relocating to Denver and the surrounding areas for the first time or are just looking to move within the state. She enjoys spending time with her family, golfing and taking advantage of the great Colorado weather!
Steve Sandifer, B.A.
Steve Sandifer, B.A., brings over 28 years of sales and marketing experience to the team. His many years of experience has helped him become proficient in determining each client’s needs based on thorough qualification and his ability to discern. Through listening and following through to completion, Steve sets TLC Brokers apart from the average real estate company. Also, Steve’s extensive experience in the use of sophisticated software solutions for market analysis, transaction management and scheduling ensure he is providing the most professional level of service for each client.
Steve is the Broker/Owner of TLC Brokers. Steve manages listings and works with Buyers to help them find their dream home. He is focused on providing value to every client and is tenacious about the details. He has wonderful communication skills and works diligently with buyers, sellers, and other agents.
Steve and his wife, Helmi, along with their two daughters are thrilled to make Denver, Colorado their home for 20+ years and enjoy living in the beautiful Willow Springs neighborhood with the wonderful schools and activities. During his free time, Steve and his family take in all that Colorado has to offer with skiing, hiking and golfing. They also take in as many concerts as possible in their favorite venue, nearby Red Rocks Amphitheater.
Walt Whatley brings 40+ years of negotiation, marketing, and management experience to the team. From 1998 to the present he has ranked in the top 2% of residential real estate agents nationwide.
Walt received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Texas A&M University in Petroleum Engineering and started his career at Tenneco Oil Company. He then joined Scientific Software management team where he worked for 27 years as a sales executive, selling petroleum engineering software and services, he has negotiated contracts on every continent, with the exception of Antarctica.
